New DX Summit
DX Summit, the popular source for spots on the Internet, is being moved to a new server with much improved performance. The old OH2AQ DX Summit will be shut down. This change will require new links in CommCat to retrieve spots.
You can see the new site at http://www.dxsummit.fi/DxSpots.aspx
It is unclear at this point how logging programs will interface to the site for sending and receiving spots. As soon as learn more I'll post further information here.

Update on new DX Summit
I do not have much new information to report on sending and receiving spots to and from the new DX Summit site via CommCat. This despite unanswered daily messages to the contact e-mail address they have provided.
In the meantime, the old interface for sending and receiving spots is functional most of the time. I see big differences between the spots that appear on the new site vs. the old site. It may be that the new site is only accepting spots from the online interface, and not from programs or from other clusters. It also appears they are not feeding spots between the two systems.
I've written code to extract spot information from the new site which is presently being Beta tested. I remain concerned that they could change their format which would obsolete what I have done.
Frustrating.

OH2AQ Spot site down
It looks like the DX Summit folks have taken down the old OH2AQ site. Support for the new site will be in the next CommCat version, to be released soon. In the meantime, please use one of the Telnet sites for DX Spots.
If you are a CommCatLive user, spots are available from the MyQSX site. The option for MyQSX spots is in File, Settings, Spots, MyQSX.
Be sure to disable the DX Summit options until spots are once again available from that source.
