The updated iPod touch is thinner, has a new high resolution screen, faster processor, and two cameras.

To use your online MyQSX log or to control your radio from the app, you'll need an account on MyQSX.net. You can request this code from the MyQSX.net settings in the app.

I've noticed that some users are requesting an account several times. When MyQSX receives your request and validates your call, it sends your registration code by e-mail. This process takes less than one minute. If you do not receive the e-mail, it may have been trapped by a spam filter used by your e-mail provider. Be sure to check for this possibility.

If you aren't able to find the message, please contact me using the support form on MyQSX.net, and I'll send you another copy.

From time-to-time I'll post progress updates for new CommCat Mobile features I'm working on.

My current project is to provide a web browser facility to view, edit, delete, and download contacts from your online log. You will be able to download using ADIF for importing into logging programs, Excel spreadsheet format, or XML. Upload will be added next.

After many months of development and wonderful help from a number of beta testers, CommCat Mobile has been approved by Apple and is now available from the iTunes app store.

A big thank you to all those who helped along the way, especially Len, K6ANP, and Robb, WB2HNP. Ange, W8ERN, graciously allowed his MyQSX site to be used for the app images.

Here is the link to CommCat Mobile.

CommCat Mobile is a simplified version of ComCat that provides spot management, radio control, and logging. Your log is stored on the MyQSX server for safe keeping.

This is a free app, although CommCat is required for radio control. A free QSXer account or CommCat Live subscription is required on MyQSX for logging and radio control.
